It ended up raining, so today was a relax day. We relaxed. Lunch was at a Chinese restaurant, which was still pretty non-traditional, but tasted considerably healthier than one would in America. You can't sell that much grease to Japanese people in one dish, I guess. I had ramen, because that's what was ordered for me, and I got myself a melon soda. It was delicious and I am constantly baffled by the fact that the flavor is unpopular in America. It's green and tastes like candy; why is it not being marketed to American children?
After lunch, I got to go to Book Off again. The bad news is that I spent even more money on being a tourist. The good news is that I looked through the entire discount CD section very thoroughly, and needn't go back for a long time. The REALLY good news is that this all cost me about ten dollars. Had I paid the original price for all these, It'd have been about $150, and that's not counting the fact that some might actually have increased in value ("Cruel" is an original pressing from 1994). Pictured: SAVINGS.
Clockwise from the top-left, we have "Black Cherry" by Kumi Koda (DVD included!), "Private Enemy" by Pierrot, "Cruel" by Kuroyume, "Yuuyami Suicide" by Pierrot, and "Drug Treatment" by Kuroyume again. I am very satisfied with my purchases and I regret nothing. Now I'm just going to keep my eyes out for a few specific things, and maybe go back for a Kuroyume VHS tape they had for $2.50.
I will likely be making some friends soon, so a good deal of my finances will probably start going to things like karaoke or watching them drink (I'm in Japan) while I have another melon soda. Also another visit to that maid cafe, because HA HA HA HA HA HA HA
