Yesterday

Okay, so, here are yesterday's happenings since I was much too tired to post about them then.

Wesley decided to go to Kawagoe, so I went with him.  If where I am is like Roswell, then Kawagoe is kind of like North Point Mall's general area.  It's where all the fun and the shopping happen outside of Tokyo, at least for us.

This is the view from the train platform.  I still have no idea who restocks the vending machines in weird places like this, but someone does it.

This is a cat at Crea Mall.  The sign says not to feed him, so apparently he sits there A LOT.  He was very friendly and let me pet him, which is the first time a cat here has done so.

I'M A FROG RIBBIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIT

Wesley got more of that potato ice cream, because it's the best.

There was a parrot for whatever reason.  Someone just had a parrot.

Look at this dog.
Apparently he is lucky (according to the man holding him), because there was a short line of people waiting to take a picture with him.  By "with", I mean he sits on their lap in the same position a child would, and then a picture is taken.  It was hilarious.

This cat liked the curb for whatever reason.  He also liked to give kisses, and he attracted Japanese people like nothing I have ever seen.

This is the side of one of those photo booths in an arcade.  I just liked the text ("100% Real Cute").

SAME ARCADE; BLAZBLUE POSTER.  YEAAAAAAAAH.

This was my lunch.  It was a bacon and egg burger, and for whatever reason it didn't taste like a pile of grease.  Probably because IT DOESN'T HAVE TO BE MADE THAT WAY, AMERICAN FAST FOOD.

We went back to the idol goods store and I found this poster of 4minute.  I... I don't think most of them were ready for the picture, especially Jiyoon in the middle there.

Speaking of unflattering pictures you can take home with you forever, SNSD's Hyoyeon never thought this expression would end up on a keychain, I'm sure.

This is just an apartment building attached to a restaurant/department store.  Japan likes to save space.

Kawagoe has a candy street  where they make all sorts of traditional candy, so I bought some.  Again, since Kawagoe is big on sweet potatoes, those things on the right are sugar-coated potato slices.  The other ones that look like marbles are just hard candy.  I enjoyed them.
