CD Things

Today we went to Kawagoe after school to look for some things.  There were some Jojo's Bizarre Adventure shirts that we each really wanted, but they ended up being about $60, so we didn't buy them.  Even for Japan, a $60 T-shirt is ridiculous.

Anyway, I ended up buying these things because they jumped out at me.  On the left is Asriel's "unveil", which is much better than I remembered, and on the right X-Japan's "Dahlia", which was on my short list of CDs to own before I die.  So far I've actually gotten hold of most of that list, by the way.  The wonderful thing about used CDs in Japan is that they have no scratches and every little piece is still there, because they probably won't take things that don't work.  If there IS anything missing, the price drops to about five cents, but seeing as how I'd rather have the whole thing, I'm willing to pay the little bit extra.  It's still much less than the original price, but with all the pseudo-archaeological feelings brought on by pulling something dusty off of a shelf.



So anyway, I just wanted to point out that I didn't bring any CDs to Japan.  And yet, this:

I like Japan.
