...was a good time. Again, I didn't really do much, but it was still enjoyable.
First, I got up early to go clean the park with the neighbors. This is a thing that happens here, and it's delightful. However, because the park was so clean already, all we had to clean up were pine needles. Do you know how many pine needles WEREN'T left when we were done? All of them. All of the pine needles. After that, I sat at home a bit, had lunch, and then found out about a game I desperately wanted to play. It's old, so I figured I'd be able to find it at Book-Off or something. However, I didn't know it was also rare, so the game was nowhere in sight. I did, however, find a Sister Princess fanbook. Inside it was this cat. I don't think they ever expected someone that can read English to see this picture, because this is the world's strongest happy cat.
After that, I wandered around to see what other games I could find. I FOUND SO MANY. Two old box sets of Zelda: Majora's Mask that I may get (not pictured) and THIS:
THEY HAVE SWEET HOME. For those that don't know, this is probably the predecessor to all survival horror games, and is the direct inspiration for Resident Evil. I kind of want it, but I don't have a Super Nintendo. I may get one some day.
I also found a Japanese copy of Banjo-Kazooie, one of the most delightful non-Japanese games ever made.
So today is not going to be too busy, either. I plan to go to school even though it's a break to go see some people, but other than that not much is happening.
I have a Super Nintendo. 8D
ReplyDeleteIf you can fineggle someone to remove the plastic tabs inside that will let it play Super Famicom games, you can borrow for as long as you like. ^__^
