Yesterday we had presentations and stuff. No one did that good a job because the project itself was not conducive to good work in the time allotted. After that, though, I talked to a bunch of people. Like, a lot. A whole lot. Then I went to McDonald's for lunch and did some more talking. I met a model who has been in some things I've seen apparently.
I had a milkshake and two sandwiches at McDonald's, because it's better over here. After I went home, I did some resting before my host family's son came over to get me for karaoke. I went with him and a bunch of his friends, most of whomw ere around my age, so it was a good time. First, though, we ate at a restaurant called Saizeria. It's a chain, despite the fancy ceiling.
This is me with one of my host brother's friends.
And this is the vaguely-Indian thing I had to eat (WITH MELON SODAAAAAAA).
And here I am with the same friend, plus another.
And here is the another, but this time in our fancy karaoke room. It had coat closets and leather seats.
No one did any American songs at all. This is the first time I've seen that happen. I don't know any American songs, so I never do any, but even Japanese people will usually do at least one. NOT THIS TIME. It was really exciting. I had a really good time, and I did better on all the songs than I've ever done before. It was great. I told everyone (just now, on this blog).
What were some of your favorite song choices from this evening?
